Portland To Seattle To San Fran

A couple Friends And I just took a trip From Portland to first Seattle and then drove all night to San Fran. So here is a little taste of our trip.

First stop: Seattle

The Weather started off pretty nice. The roof of the stadium is able to move on and off the field. They took it off and put it on a few times during the game.

Ichiro Was given a Golden Glove at the beginning of the game :

After the game - The weather didn't stay nice (what can you expect from Seattle?)

We left Seattle around 6pm and headed back to Portland to pick up Sam and Louis before we headed to Cali

At about 2am we were running out of Gas. We got a little nervous because we were in the middle of nowhere. We found a crazy little shop in Wolf Creek and fueled up.

We finally Made it to our destination. Joe's Grandparents made us an amazing breakfast and we headed off to the city.

We checked out Pier 39 and tried to Go to Alcatraz but we couldn't get a ferry that was going out there.

Strict rules - We were all forced to change.

I met a girl. But We really didn't hit it off too well. Lets just say she was set in her ways.

One of the Highlights of the trip:
While driving downtown up a huge hill. A guy grabbed onto the car in front of us wearing roller blades. The lady stopped when she realized he was there and yelled at him. So he grabbed ours and we pulled him to the top of the hill. He was a businessman who just got off work. Cheap yet dangerous transportation.

So that night we hit up In-N-Out Burger. Quality burgers.

The next day we had to drive back to Portland. We made a few stops on the way.

Near Joe's house is an old cemetery up in some hills where they buried Miners who died in the 1800's

We found a massive Pine cone in the cemetery and played with it.

Lesson learned: Big pine cones are sharp. Don't play with them.

After that we continued on our way
A field filled with Windmills. Pretty cool.

We made an unexpected stop at the Jelly Belly Factory. We wanted to take a tour but it was packed with little children so we passed and settled for eating jelly beans.
